Madison Cuthbertson

Madison is a climate optimist with a deep passion for investing in scalable, sustainable technologies. She began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and private equity at Starwood Capital Group, evaluating and executing large commercial real estate transactions.

In 2022, she pivoted to project finance at a seed-stage startup, Lumen Energy, where she was the first employee hired to spearhead all commercial solar financial modeling. She played a pivotal role in the company's mission to develop a comprehensive solution for deploying profitable commercial solar systems across large real estate portfolios. This experience led her to pursue her master's at Imperial College where she completed a thesis on the role of private capital in CO2 removal (CDR) technology scale-up.

Madison has a BS in Real Estate from New York University and MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London.
